Electric shower

Connected direct to the mains fusebox, this type will supply unlimited quantities of water on demand.
One limitation with the lower power models is the volume of water delivered during winter months.

  • Showers are available at:
  • 7KW
  • 8KW
  • 9KW
  • &  10.8 KW  ratings.

  • All these showers will supply hot water but the
quantity supplied by a 7KW shower is noticeably less than a 8KW shower. In the summer months a 7Kw will suffice but as the colder water intake in winter produces a cooler water jet a more powerful heater will be preferred.

  • All electric showers must be supplied by a dedicated cable
  • This cable will be either 6mm sqd or 10mm sqd csa
  • If your shower circuit is protected by a re-wireable type fuse, then it should be replaced with either a cartridge type or a MCB
  • For details of fuses & MCB's see the Fusebox page also see fuses
