There are some aspects of a home that are more important then others. Every house should have a sound roof, safe gas, secure plumbing and safe electrical installation.

I specialise in domestic electrical work, and on numerous occasions I have fitted switches and sockets in recently decorated rooms, work that with better planning could have been scheduled to take place before the painting and wallpapering.

Even when the wiring meets the current regulations, extra sockets lights and switches are often wanted and needed.

There are still many homes in the U.K. that require a partial or complete rewire, and cost aside, many people may avoid and/or postpone this work because they don't want to re-decorate after the new cables, sockets and switches have been fitted.

However, the benefits of the rewire are considerable: higher levels of safety from fire and electric shock, increased resale value of home and the opportunity to choose exactly where you want sockets and switches.

I work to a high standard and take all due care to minimise the damage to the home.

For those homeowners who are not currently able to have the rewire work carried out, a new and significantly better fusebox can be fitted with almost no disruption, often located in a garage, cellar or cupboard. This provides an immediate increase in safety standards and the remaining work can be carried out at a convenient time.

As I offer a Free Estimate for electrical work, and give free and practical advice, with no obligation, you can afford to plan ahead.
