ADSL Router with 4 port switch
This is not an ADSL modem !
| The new ACEEX AR41 is an ideal solution for HOME/SOHO users
who require super-fast Internet access over existing copper wires.
The AR41, an ADSL-based router integrated 4-port 10/100 Mbps
switching hub, provides maximum speeds of up to 8Mbps for up to 4
computers without the extra cost of a hub or switch.
The combination of a switching hub and router makes the AR41
more efficient and less expensive than having to purchase separate
boxes. The built-in switching hub provides each connection a
dedicated 10/100 Mbps bandwidth that greatly increases the
throughput for bandwidth-sensitive applications as opposed to
having to use a hub where the bandwidth would be inefficiently
shared by all of the stations. The Auto MDI/MDIX feature enables
the on-chip transceivers to automatically and transparently detect
and correct incorrectly wired cables. This makes installation,
debugging, and maintenance of the network substantially simpler
and less expensive for the end users.
The NAT (Network Address Translation) feature not only allows
an unlimited number of users to access the Internet with a single
ISP account, but it also supports multimedia and online game
applications. With PPP routing and robust security features, the
AR41 connects your computers to the Internet while protecting your
local network.
