Halogen bulbs 


Halogen gas is used with tungsten filaments to produce a brilliant white light.

Some types are  230 v and others are 12/24 volt types.

  Extra low voltage (12V) are often used in kitchen lighting systems.

Available in BC and ES 
cap terminations.

Wattages range from
9 to 23 watts
(equivalent to 40-100 watts)
Extended life

Most useful in locations where they are left on for extended periods such as hallways & outdoors courtesy lighting. Ensure that you put in a bright enough bulb as on switch on they run at reduced output for the first minute & are therefore often  unsuitable for stairways.

Reflector bulbs



Par 38 is suitable for outdoors use in the correct fitting.

Wattages range from 30 to 150 w

 


 

Fluorescent tubes range from 4w to 70w

in 3 difffernt diameters,


15mm = T526mm = T8 & 38mm = T12
